At Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center we believe in the power of caring relationships.
Every day we create new possibilities for seniors and adults with disabilities by combining expert health care with careful attention to the needs of each person we serve.
Laguna Honda is California’s first green-certified hospital.
Our 62-acre campus is designed to offer choices for living, to encourage community involvement and to provide a therapeutic environment for 765 residents in 13 specialized nursing and rehabilitation programs.
Each program serves a maximum of 60 people, allowing us to get to know the experiences, challenges and hopes of every unique individual.
Our approach is to see the whole person, not just the diagnosis.
We deliver individually-focused care that improves physical and emotional well-being, supports community integration and creates possibilities to help people engage with the world around them.

Meet Henry, Laguna Honda's most popular goose. In fact, he's the hospital's only goose. He descends from the Chinese Goose breed and is nearing 20 year's old (born in 1998). He likes to make his presence known at the farm by honking at visitors and will often waddle his way up next to the fence to say "hello" and to take a closer look at who is here.
Meet the two coolest cats at Laguna Honda, Samantha (long hair) and Tad (the elder one, born in April 2000.) Both felines live at the hospital farm and are animal therapy cats who are veterans to the cause. Their hobbies include greeting and welcoming visitors and spending time comforting residents.
